If you keep your carpet clean and maintain it well, it will improve the quality of the air in your home! This is because it traps dust particles and other allergens in its fibres much like the filter in a cooker hood or in a car engine. Pollen is a dye contained within a lipid, first the lipid or fat part of the stain must be treated with a gel to prevent the dye element from running into surrounding fibres, then the dye part of the stain can be treated.
